Flu Vaccinations and Pregnancy
Pregnant women are a priority group for flu immunisation every year because we know that flu in pregnancy can lead to more serious complications. The vaccine is completely safe for you and your baby.
Flu is a highly infectious virus which spreads quickly, even between those not showing any symptoms. That is why the flu vaccine is still the best way to protect you, your baby, and those around you against the flu.

St George’s Hospital Maternity Helpline
St George’s Hospital have launched a new dedicated helpline for new and expecting parents.
It is staffed by midwives and offers advice, reassurance and clinical support from 08:00-20:00, 7 days a week.
